Life is a bridge. Cross over it, but build no house on it.” – A proverb from India
Sometimes, to move forward we need to give up something concrete. This might include “our immovable nature”, our comfort, our familiar baggage, our diet, or our old self-image. Ask yourself, What’s keeping me from moving ahead? Pain, memories, unforgiveness, or fear?
Feel stuck? Enough already. We were designed to cross over, not camp. The Bible says it this way:
” But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal…” – Philippians 3:13-14
